It really depends on the crew and conference.

I've given up on any kind of consistent officiating in CFB

You have to just watch the crew of any particular game and try to figure them out.

Don't know if the PSU offense playing a fast tempo is wise. It gives the ball back to Stroud & Co. sooner and the defense has less rest.

I think the announcing crew is good. Gus Johnson's job is to pump the "upset" , especially for the home underdog, to keep viewership interest. And Klatt is a solid color analyst. But I know most folks here like Herbstreit and Fowler and that's it.
