Winston is making it very hard to pull for FSU against even the boogs. Don't know if I've ever seen a more smug, arrogant reaction/speech.

Congrats to AJ, I honestly didn't think he'd finish in the top 3. Of course, he got no help from Barner McCarter (voted Mason 2nd and Lynch 3rd) and Kevin Scarbtiger (voted Mason 2nd and C.J. Moseley 3rd). The "anybody but A.J." crowd had their ringleaders right here in our own state, but I'm not really surprised.

This is awesome but where's the mention of the 2012 SEC Championship & his NC MVP? Too much to fit on there I guess. Which is. GREAT problem to have. These should be on there instead of the 99 yd TD pass. RTR.

AJ got more votes from the Northeast (130) than he did in the Southeast (128).

I didn't watch the presentation live, and after reading some of the comments here, I thought that maybe y'all were being a little too harsh and perhaps even fueled by a bit of bitterness.

Then I watched it.

Jaboo made sCam Newton look like Roger Staubach. Unless he slipped acknowledgement of his fellow nominees into the unintelligible parts of the speech, he just completely blew them off. Love him or hate him, Johnny Football was at least a decent enough human being to single out his fellow nominees' accomplishments.

Nauseating.

Watching the NC Game this year will be like watching the movie "The Longest Yard" with all the criminals & prison guards making sure they don't escape into the big crowds..LOL

It's hard to be for FSU, but it's impossible to want *U to win anything. I'm only wishing the MNC game is a comedy of errors where neither team looks like a national champion.

His stats are impressive but no one ever criticizes the fact that he's on a stacked team, like they do AJ. Nor do they mention his penchant for throwing picks against ranked teams.

YUP..When you actually make sCam Newton look like a humble guy, you're going to become the most hated guy in college football, if not in all of sports, to be as truthful as possible..

The Heisman has gone from the most prestigious awards in all of sports, to the most laughable in not only college football, but, in all of humanity I hate to say, and that's being as nice as I'll be about the once proud and award..I honestly don't think it will be ever able to regain it's lost prestige..

That was a great story! Thanks for sharing the link......brought a tear to my eye for the young man and his struggles dealing with CP, as well as from the feeling of pride from having such an outstanding representative of the University of Alabama in AJ McCarron.

Seems like the media and a lot of the voters forget the "with integrity" part of the Heisman's mission statement.......of course that was known in 2010 when old thieving sCam won it....

Are you really going to watch the game? I hope both teams turn the ball over 4 or 5 times a piece and its a ugly game , so that by half most of the country is watching something else.... I had rather visit the dentist than to watch Aubarn play......

The Heisman passed up a real opportunity to restore integrity but passed for what ESPN dictated.

71% of the responses in his home state said he was not the best player. I need to read the articles about him in the Bham Junk News to see how hard Saban actually recruited him. Sounds like he has the personality to commit rape and lie about it. I am glad he is not wearing Crimson.....
