Welcome back! What about Marlon Humphrey? He seems to be the real deal....but not a lock. His brother did go to Arky.
IMO He is a lock because of his brother. The family wants him to stay closer to home. Plus, to much in our favor with him being a CB and Saban personally coaching the secondary. His brother is at UAB I believe. IMO This could be the best corner class we have ever signed when it is all said and done.( IMO Humphery is the best CB prospect to come out since Patrick Peterson)

That was several weeks ago and before Pruitt had even left Alabama. His biggest attraction to Alabama was Pruitt. That was the assistant he had the closest relationship with. That assistant-recruit relationship is also what cost Alabama Walker.

Although I will admit that both Bessent and Williams are actively recruiting Daub, and Bessent is originally from Jacksonville.
Daub is going to end up at FSU becuase of Pruitt( who has ....ed off Saban with Walker's recruitment last year). We have The GA LB higher on our board as well as Tre from Mobile. To the people asking when another commit for us will come likely A-day or the week before or after. That's the pattern since Saban has arrived.

Are you referring to ILB Raekwon Williams? He recently said OSU is no longer his leader. He is now wide open.

all of the above, but Bama putting DBs in the league under Saban doesn't hurt either especially in the 1 st round or 2nd.

I would love to hear how Carter's visit went b/c I think he's the best prospect in this class
Carter visit went so well with him and his parents he stayed an extra day to be around the team more and the staff. His parents also wanted to stay longer, and they took in a Gymnastics meet as well as a couple more bama games I believe baseball and softball ,however, not sure on those. Also, I agree with you on the best prospect in this class based on NFL potential and upside. He is a freak athlete.

The only concern I would have with Marlon Humphrey is his tremendous ability as a track athlete. Alabama won't be able to offer what other programs can, in that regard. However, I think he'll see that his future as a potential NFL DB is very high under Nick Saban.

RG3 was one of the best hurdlers in the nation has a freshman in College after giving up his spring senior semester. He placed 3rd in the NCAA meet and made it to the semis of the US trials. But, gave it up to concentrate on football. That turned out to be a pretty good idea. Also, Saban has said numerous times that he wants all the sports to be the best. It helps all the programs and I know they have upgraded the track facilities.

What could Saban do if he unlimited schollys like Coach Bryant had?
Bryant had the same rules/limits as everyone else meaning there were never "unlimited" scholarships. There were no tricks or exemptions involved to give him an edge over other schools.

Not that that was what you were implying just there is a lot of misinformation regarding that era. :)

Ohio State is no longer his leader. It looks like Alabama and Clemson are out in front. He seems to like the idea of playing with Reuben Foster.
Good article and video of Raekwon under "Latest Bama News 3/25" on the football board. He is a tackling machine and reminds me some of Reuben but probably not quite as fast. Check it out.

Sorry, that was why I put " " around the word unlimited. I realize that there were limits, just not the limits that we are subjected to now.
