Tennessee' OC Mike DeBord is leaving to go to Indiana to be OC. From a distance, this screams "I'm leaving because I was told to."
 
Doesn't surprise me, he stuck his neck out on something the administration put their foot down on w/r/t sexual assault. He'll get rehired somewhere next year...it isn't like he created a culture problem, he just thumbed his nose at a no-debate decision.

Also, Stewart Mandel tweeted something that highlights that the AD didn't hire this guy so his insubordination and tone-deafness was a convenient reason for the AD to hire his choice at head football coach.

He was in a no-win situation. You either tick off your AD or alienate your team.
 
Probably should've said nothing in public and give his new boss no reason to fire him when the new boss probably wants to make his mark as suits are wont to do in the hopes of showing the world how smart they are.
