Dabo needs to do whatever it takes to keep venerable. Without him, defense will look different next year.

Hard to believe he was actually forced out at OU several years ago. It was an ingenious move by Dabo to pick him up when he did.

I agree, he won’t leave clemson until he gets a offer to be a HC and in my opinion that’s long overdue for him.

Even if we made him the highest paid DC in college football I can’t see it happening but they are close friends.

Ironically, Venables was in Little Rock yesterday for the Broyles Award and called the hogs with fans in the room when he came up to speak lol

I think he was joking around, although he may have never heard of the magazine itself before.

He had underperformed for a while. Interesting to see who Cutcliffe replaces him with.
