2018 Bold Prediction Thread

Only a few days left before game week. I am so ready to get this year going next Saturday with the Tide rolling over little Bobby. I have a few bold predictions I would like to post and get everyone elses bold crystal ball predictions for the season.

RULES-
Post 2-3 predictions
Go bold, dont predict something generic like 12-0.
Be specific and detailed
The crazier and more shocking the better.

Will be fun to look back during the year and see who all predicted what. Remember, the more detailed and specific, the better. Maybe we can crown the best predictor as our 2019 Tide Crystal Ball Guru!!


1-Tua will start against Louisville and go for 2-3 series and then switch out to Hurts for 2-3 series.

PS- Would not be shocked to see both Tua and Jalen be on the field for the first snap and spread out wide with Harris taking the snap from the shotgun. Saban likes to remind everyone he is in charge. LOL


2-Jaylen Waddle will return 3 kicks for TDs this year and one will be against LSU.

3-LSU will lose 5 games this year and Eaux will get fired before their bowl game.

Bonus Prediction- Meyer will not be on the field for OSU’s last game this year.

1) D.Harris will hit 1500 yards at or by the Auburn game (If Tua is the starting QB from game 1.

2) Alabama will have two 34+ point games hung on them (win both)

3)Auburn will beat the brakes off of Georgia and come into the Bama game ranked in the top three, only to get crushed 52-17

Bonus, Alabama’s kicker(s) will make 8-10 40+ FG’s this season.

1. Northwestern wins the B1G.
2. Navy makes a New Years 6
3. USCe wins the SEC east, gets blown out by Alabama in the SEC championship game.

Bonus: The Falcons win the Super Bowl.
Bonus Bonus: Jalen plays in only 4 games, redshirts, transfers to Georgia Tech in 2019 and they make the playoffs that year only to lose to Alabama.

1. Bama becomes the first college football team to ever win 15 games in a single season.
2. In the NCG between Bama and Wisconsin, Tua gets carted off the field midway through the 2nd quarter with the score tied at 10 each. Jalen comes in and scores 2 quick touchdown runs before the half. The Tide goes on to win 48 to 10.
3. Nick Saban goes all season without saying one cuss word to the media.

Notre Dame losses 8 games, one of them to Vandy.

Ohio State losses to every preseason-ranked team they play plus Nebraska, a total of 5 losses.

Alabama averages roughly 42 points per game going into the playoffs. Opponents average 13 ppg.

LSU comes within inches of upsetting Alabama. Final score: 31-27.

1. A true freshman will lead the OLBs in sacks and a true freshman leads the DBs in Ints (Wilson will lead the team in Ints, Davis will lead the team in sacks, and Moses will have the most sacks from LBs)

2. Dylan Moses will have 10+ sacks and 100+ tackles(this is really my prediction for next year but why not try it a year early)

3. Josh Jacobs will lead the RBs in all purpose yards(this may not be very bold if he returns kicks)

4. Henry Ruggs not Jerry Jeudy leads the WRs (idk if this counts a bold or not)

3. Like a year ago, Clemson suffers yet another shocking road loss, this time in the second game of the season @Texas A&M.

4. Michigan loses once again to rivals Michigan State and Ohio State and decides to fire Jim Harbaugh at the end of the season.

Man, I’m going to miss JK. He got royally screwed, not winning a single award his entire time at Bama. Best punter in the country.

Due to the success of the run game and leaving games in the third quarter, Tua will hit 300 yds passing/game no more than 3 times this season.

Jalen will play —A LOT—this season, mainly in 3rd and 4th quarters.

The barn will be 10-1 when they come to Tuscaloosa in November and Gus will get a contract extension.

The Playoff will feature unbeaten Alabama and Oklahoma, Penn State, and Clemson.
