They're hoping to "dirty him up," so there's not a clear choice between the two in behavior towards women. They're hoping to damp down enthusiasm for voting for him...
The adage about it always being projection with Republicans becomes more & more clear as dead on to me. Nearly every single thing they accuse people of is in part because they do it that way or worse - or at the very least is something they want to do.
With that in mind it’s hard not to think about the hysteria that Obama would install himself as a dictator & refuse to leave office.
just like Trump won’t run again or Bloomberg was going to win....

it's hilarious that a year ago the consensus "concern" was that biden was the only democrat who had a chance to beat trump.
Well, this is kinda what political campaigns do these days. Look for anything that is, or could potentially be, damaging to the opponent. Plenty of democrats doing the same thing. I personally don't think Biden is a sexual harasser but he sure is really, really creepy with those neck rubs and ear whispers. I wouldn't want him around my wife or daughter.
Well - to be accurate - I said Trump may not be a candidate - did not rule anything out as the reason why. That said, it's still possible he may still decide not to run for *some* reason.

I didn't when I made my prediction.
I just felt there was a lot of time left and with the current politically-related circumstances that left a lot of room for stuff to change. That's all.
I still feel the same way about Trump as well. He may not even be on the ticket. Lot of time left. Lot can happen. Probably will.
Yeah and Russia may nuke us today. That has about the same amount of chance of happening today than Trump ever considering not running with the SD of New York threatening criminal actions on him. You said it to get a rise.

I don't like 30 year old accusations, but this has been handled differently by the media than the Brett Kavanaugh Christine Blasey Ford accusations.
Mostly because a lot of her allegations don’t add up, and the fact that she has been actively contributing to two far left campaigns against Biden. Kavanaugh had a lot more baggage and real meat to the story.
and before this becomes “well that is just because he has a D next to his nameâ€Â, consider Al Franken was totally destroyed for 20 year old stuff as well. Franken would’ve probably been a candidate for 2020 had he not been ousted on sexual assault accusations and would’ve probably had a great shot at the nomination.
The one point I WILL make on this is the pontificating righteous "women always tell the truth" group that judged Kavanaugh before they knew anything about the actual accusation is incredibly silent right now. The excuse about the pandemic doesn't cut it in the day of Twitter, either. Kavanaugh survived MOSTLY because the later allegations against him were so obviously not true (the Avenatti group, etc). That turned it from "Ford's possibly credible allegation" into ritualistic rape and things nobody with a brain ever gave any credence.
Of course - since I'm a cynic - the only people speaking up are the Bernie/AOC folks. Couldn't be THEY are hoping to cash in now, can it?
Yeah, but why?
1) Kristen Gillibrand (and the others) wanted him cleared out for their Oval Office ambitions
2) Despite the claim Leanne Tweeden was his only accuser, there was a long list
3) The governor of Minnesota was a Democrat.
That "principled stand" would have never happened with Governor Tim Pawlenty picking the replacement. That's the same reason I don't think Warren will be Biden's choice - because while he's not a Southern redneck, Charlie Baker isn't a left-wing Democrat, either.
Which is exactly why Gillibrand led the charge.
It's also why a BUNCH of liberals wanted nothing to do with her and why she folded her tent so quickly last fall (among other reasons).
Full disclosure: I dated a girl whose ex was a Secret Service guy with the Biden detail (and others for years). While she DID tell me some VERY interesting inside stories that I can't share publicly (email me if you're interested), she never indicated Biden was anything but a nice fella. And trust me - he would have come on to her if he had "that problem."
I knew Franken had been accused of it since SNL, and he should’ve been called out for it along time before. But again I look at like Roy Moore and Kavanaugh in that there was serious allegations that were covered up by a lot of powerful and influential people. These stories have been out for years. With Joe Biden being a consistent presidential candidate and a Vice President you would think we would have this story a long time ago and one that makes way more sense.
