Leroy E. Beissel

New Smyrna Beach - Leroy E. Beissel, 95, New Smyrna Beach, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Beissel was born in Maidencreek, PA and moved to the area in 1982 from Hamburg, PA. He was an Air Force veteran of WWII, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era, retiring as a Master Sergeant with 31 years' service. After his career in the armed forces, he worked at the Kennedy Space Center in Titusville as a Quality Control Engineer. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a daily patron at the Lost Lagoon Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach.

Godspeed and thank you for your service, sir!

He and Sam Jones were quite duo...really complemented well by Bob Cousy. KC did the dirty work of defense, etc. I really miss those early 60's Celtics.

IDK if there are wrestling fans but Jon Huber, 41, (Luke Harper of the Wyatt Family in the WWE and Brodie Lee of the Dark Order in AEW) passed away last night. He had just turned 41 about 10 days ago.
