What I don’t get is why they are building up both teams as the 92 Pirates in which this is the last stand for both teams because of impending free agency. The Pirates knew that Bonds was gone even before the season began.
Yeah that doesn't even make sense....

The main players we have to resign are:

Freddie
Soler
Joc
Rosario
Duvall

You know we are resigning Freddie

Then we pretty much HAVE to sign 3 out of the other 4 if not all 4 to have an Outfield.

I'm guessing we find some kind of way to offload Ozuna's contract to free up addition spending.

No matter what happens in this World Series I can't see the team being blown up at all???

Just in case the Braves get in trouble in this series I just want to remind everyone of Dusty's EPIC collapses...

1993 - Giants lead west by 9.5 games over the Braves in August....Blows It

2002 - Giants lead WS 3-2 and lead Game 6 5-0 in the 7th.... Blows it

2003 - Cubs lead NLCS 3-1 and lead Game 6 3-0 in the 8th....Blows it

2012 - Reds lead NLDS 2-0 and go home for final 3 games....Blows it

He has Major historical issues closing the deal.

The last time the Braves played in the World Series was so long ago, most of us had never experienced anything like a "game thread," they largely didn't exist.

Hell, the last time the Braves were in the World Series
- Bill Clinton was President
- Donald Trump had just finalized his divorce with Marla Maples in June
- Walter Payton was still (barely) alive
- Kurt Warner was just becoming known for cutting up the NFL defenses that year
- Kobe had not yet won an NBA title (he would in 2000)
- Mike DuBose was the head coach at UA and leading walking beside us to an SEC title
-
Alabama lost their 5th straight to UcheaT that year.
Nick Saban was still at MSU.

Well, for you Braves guys that like karma, just remember your ballpark was never called Enron Field.
