Here is a good article with interviews with Caleb and dad about their latest visit and what Bama does during these visits. With Justice Haynes commitment and calling Caleb his best friend and seeing the quotes in this article gives me a good feeling.

Guessing getting Haynes and Downs will make up for us losing the #1 prospect in Alabama and 5* in 2019 in Clay Webb to UGA ;) . Not sure he has cracked their two-deep yet.

Edit: I just saw where he entered the transfer portal in April.

Downs to commit July 27, we shall see. This DB class might be epic. Who knows, it's always mystery.

We've has some very, very successful safeties come out of Alabama. Not surprising he would see the very real opportunity to add to that list. Hope he comes to Tuscaloosa.

It appears the puppy dogs picked up the #2 safety prospect in Joenel Aguero. Good for them, now, where does that leave young mister downs to go?

This would definitely be the year to pull in the top recruits in the secondary as Bama potentially loses every starter at safety and cornerback with the exception of McKinstry. These top recruits see the possibility of very early playing time.
