The Commodores have a lot of question marks, but when do they not? If the offensive line can get a little more serious about moving the ball on the ground, Vanderbilt ought to be fine in this game at least. Hawaii's once-vaunted offense ranked 103rd in the nation in 2022. Vandy or no Vandy, don't look for Hawaii to suddenly look like a juggernaut overnight.

For Florida it will, as it always does, come down to play calling.

My biggest pet peeve is being predictable.

Thanks, Jess, always appreciate your take on everything football!

The season is getting closer and closer. Again, thanks for all the work you do that gives us something to read as we wait for the season to kick off. I had similar numbers in my helmet schedule picks.
UGA 11-1, 7-1 loss at UT
UT 10-2, 6-2 losses at Bama and UK
USC 8-4, 5-3 losses at UGA, at UT, and at A&M
UKen 8-4, 4-4 losses at UGA, at MSU, Bama, and at USC
Missou 4-8, 1-7 wins are S. Dakota, Memphis, MTSU, and UF
Vandy 4-8, 1-7 wins are Hawaii, Ala. A&M, Missou, and Wake
Florida 3-9, 1-7 wins are McNeese, Charlotte, and Vandy (I like Napier, but I just don't think they have the horses this year, and the schedule is pretty rough.)
