Me too. Or more like Waddle.

well, there's want to, and what his best future is. Rashaan Evans really, really wanted to be a DE/Edge guy, and we played him there in pass rush specialist downs for a couple years, but he couldn't become a 3 down guy due to his lack of size. Finally realized what the staff had been telling him and moved to ILB in year 3, while still getting some specialist reps. Once he'd made the adjustment his last year - first round pick.

Oh they'll fit him into the right spot as he develops. My point is at this stage, it's not conclusive where that is, and that he can be an outstanding player at either position.

Witfong CB'd Russaw and Smith this AM!!!

I saw that also. What a finish it would be to bring in Smith, Russaw and Keeley in the last week. Add Carter at ILB and another elite CB and this class may be the best ever (I don't consider '22 A&M best ever like I don't consider Bonds the all-time HR leader). Cheaters don't count. Our class still may be better than A&M's anyway.

Edit: just saw the Carter to UT from our experts. Ricks would be great.

Sadly, cheaters do count. Something else GOAT has to deal with.

I believe every single recruit commited right now is an EE. It maybe looks like a few are not. The clock symbol means EE.

Losing Carter would be disappointing (I love Carter's film) but, as others have said, with Jefferson and Russaw in the fold, combined with our signees from last season, ILB should be a strength of the team going forward either way.
