Can I ask why some folks are worried about Wisconsin? Other than the game being at 11:00 (we typically don’t play super well at this time), I don’t think they can beat us.
I don't think people are worried about losing to them but it will be our first road game and Camp Randall is a wild venue. They lost to Ohio State at home only 24-10 last year so they are not a team to take lightly.

Fickell's a good coach and this will be another year in his system. With the massive amount of change in our program that we've had this offseason, this is a game ripe for losing.

Whisky is a good team with a very good coach. They will by hyped by the media and amped to play. But we have better talent, a better coaching staff and a team chomping on the bit to play against stiffer competition. We are practicing in the mornings so don't think the kick time will matter. I think we Roll, pulling away later in the 4th.

Anyone who wants to take Luke Fickell at Camp Randall in his second year at Wisconsin for granted does so at their own risk! I haven't followed the team closely but can imagine that it is not the same old Badger team.

Gotta agree! Fickell is most likely Ryan Day's replacement if things go way wrong in Columbus this year...

Plus, just beating a Bama team gets you a big raise, and other top programs will be looking to steal you away when they come available. His main focus is on Bama until we play them. And we are still unsure of how well this team adapts to this new coaching staff.

In this day of the transfer portal it is difficult to know what a team can be from a talent standpoint. Look at Tennessee in Heupel's second year!

I just think there are so many unknowns for us right now.

I also think that Fickell is a really good maybe great HC and is known to coach some really fine Defenses.

It's also an early season true Road Game and Camp Randall can get pretty loud.

If our starting QB is operating our entire Offense/Playbook at a High level then yes we probably beat them somewhat easily or at least pull away late to seal a win.

But if we aren't getting the ball out quick and getting behind the chains and creating 3rd and Longs then things could get dicey.

I think this will be a game that the run game is heavily leaned on.

I think whiskey could beat us if we play bad. I don't think you'll see this team paralyzed with mental fatigue like we saw with some Saban teams. They just need to play fast and aggressive. My only worrys is the extreme youth we have at cornerback. We have good talent there but I don't recall ever seeing so many pure freshman in the 2 deep. They will need to grow up fast and I'm concerned the UGA game will be a hard lesson to swallow.

Sounds like the OL is set from LT to RG. Apparently, Formby is more technically sound, but Pritchett can be dominant. It’s about consistency now.

Idk much about Wisconsin if I'm honest. But they have a good coach in his 2nd year which can often be a big jump year for a team. And they'll be fired up against us.

We should probably still win but we have so many unknowns that it shouldn't be looked over probably

Our secondary will be tested thoroughly....
