I believe it covers until the portal opens in the fall but i suppose anyone can get a release from an Loi for a good enough reason.

Worth mentioning that the LOI changed this year so I dint know maybe its different now

They could exit in the spring portal i believe but thats not normally an issue with freshmen unless a coach leaves or something drastic happens

Speaking of the portal, I saw where CB Julian Humphrey of UGA has entered the portal and it said we lead for his commitment. Others pursuing include Texas, A&M (his home state), Oregon and Miami. Started 10 games this year and him entering before championship game is strange. #1 CB and #6 player in portal as of now.
