I was excited to see Asparuhov, as he graduated from my HS, but I'll have to wait another year to see him play for Alabama.

“Alex will be cleared. That’s the expectation there,” said DeBoer before teeing off at the Regions Tradition Pro-Am. “He’s really coming along,” DeBoer said of Asparuhov. “He’s an athlete. He’s strong, a strong kid. It seems like his recovery process is going well, so we expect him to be cleared and be a part of the competition.”

It's hard for us fans to get invested in kicking/kickers, especially outside of placekickers, but they really are very important.

We take them for granted way too often!

Kickers are vital and very unrespected across all levels of football. Just look at the average career length for a kicker in the NFL. Of course there are exceptions but they are RARE.
