I know that Redford was an iconic actor, but in all honesty, the only movies of his I ever saw were "All The President's Men" and "Indecent Proposal."

No, I haven't seen Jeremiah Johnson, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Candidate, or The Sting.

Do yourself a favor and watch The Great Gatsby.

Redford was also the director of A River runs through it in 1992. An absolute classic.

Redford was not a character actor like a Dustin Hoffman, or a Tom Hanks, but a great actor nonetheless. In every movie I ever saw him in, I just saw him as Robert Redford playing Robert Redford.

... one kinda under-rated film of his, I really liked, was Three Days of the Condor.

With Faye Dunaway, Cliff Robertson, Max von Sydow, among others.

The sorta film that had me scanning the crowd as I was leaving the theater.

Had a film class one time where Three Days of the Condor was deemed an almost perfect cinema script. Redford was an actor in the vein of John Wayne. His screen presence was so magnetic , he was pretty much always himself in his roles.

D.D. Lewis, who won two Super Bowls and played in the most playoff games in Dallas Cowboys history, died Tuesday. He was 79.

Lewis, a linebacker, played in five Super Bowls and 27 playoff games. His best playoff performance was in the 1975 NFC Championship, when he picked off two passes in a 37-7 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
