2025-They died this year

  • HELLO AGAIN, Guest! We are back, live! We're still doing some troubleshooting and maintenance to fix a few remaining issues but everything looks stable now (except front page which we're working on over next day or two)

Thanks for your patience and support! MUCH appreciated! --Brett (BamaNation)

if you see any problems - please post them in the Troubleshooting board!

Just found out today one of my clients passed away after a 5 year battle with cancer. What a gut punch.... :(

We first met in the Spring of '09 when I helped with the landscape renovation of their oceanfront property here. I stayed on to maintain the property ever since - along with another property of theirs next door, jointly owned with another family member.

Bill was one of the nicest persons I have ever known....easily the nicest client I've even had.

Bill and his wife were Richmond Spider alums.....and we had a few basketball conversations over the years, I will fondly remember.

He will be missed......

John Peck, the pioneering Pipeline surfer who is widely revered as the first regular footer to ride inside the tube at the infamous wave, has died. He was 81.

Following news of his passing, surfers far and wide honored the late legend. They remembered his profound influence on the surfing world – from board design to technique in the water. Specifically, his patented backside rail grab, which would later be dubbed the “pigdog” stance, and is still used today by the world’s best tube-riders.
