I would think those things are discussed initially but not sure a definitive figure is thrown out there during the early stages but not certain.

FWIW, I saw a Rivals recruiting expert say Jones is down to Bama and the Barn and Bama currently has the lead. Great looking prospect.

An On3Recruits insider, Steve Wiltfong, is shedding light on Arrington’s future plans, specifically mentioning his leaning towards Bama. “Alabama has become the one to beat for the nation’s number one athlete, cornerback target for Alabama, Brandon Arrington, one of the fastest players in the land. This visit to Alabama this weekend, I think, has set the pace for him as he continues through his process—the bond he has with the players he pointed to now, a lot of corners on the roster from California that made him feel very comfortable,” Wiltfong said. It’s no surprise this guy is at ease with the team because Kalen DeBoer is not playing alone; he’s there with his entire squad supporting Brandon Arrington.

I don't mean to be difficult but in the world of recruiting today I would say it looks good when they have signed and are enrolled. That's the current state of affairs in the new NIL world.

I used to be glued to recruiting but it now seems like a waste of time since so many guys sign and then flip when they get a better offer.
