A friend of mine and Bama alum lives in Alexander City where Morgan lives and he said he is a Bama silent. FWIW, the rumor is Morgan and Crowell are a package deal.

I miss the old days of recruiting. Now it’s just meh. The kids that committ may or may not sign in December. I know that was always a possibility , but it seems that big money strolls in late and takes from everyone now.

… and even if they sign in December, they can still leave during either the April transfer window or the next December transfer window.

I know what you mean. I still enjoy it but as I have said before, I have had to look at it as a 6 month agreement (hopefully 1 year when the new portal window rules are adjusted). We have had good retention with starters for the most part so I still like getting the elite guys that are going to start.
