Game Thread: #22 Georgia @ #24 South Carolina

Anyone starting to believe in USCe now? They're looking good out of the shoot. Lattimore is a top talent, and Ellis Johnson has the D playing great only 2 games into the season. Garcia isn't making the mistakes he was making last year, at least through the first two games. UF looks like they've woken up a bit, but that clash in a November might be quite a battle.

The difference is that we can probably stop their run... to an extent... but they can't stop ours along w/ a strong passing game.

Maybe you and I were two of the few who thought SC would be our toughest game; nothing about this has changed my mind, and I took USC and gave 3 points.

Just my personal opinion, but I thought Dyer looked the best out of all of AU back's... but they were running him as the 3rd back so he didn't have much of a chance to show anything.

Also, I'm not extremely impressed by UGA or USC in this game. Obviously, there have been some miscues, but outside of that is it just really good D or???

I find myself tuning into the San Jose State vs. Wisconsin game more.

Oh, I don't think Dyer is a bad player. Their current situations are different (relative to their roles) but ML looks a little better right now. I would like to see MD get some significant carries to see how her performs.

I haven't been watching much of this game either. Been watching the Florida game. For all the stats, the score really hasn't changed.

BTW, where is Caleb King? Hurt, suspended, forgotten about?

I think Carolina will give us a good game, however we are a lot better than UGA.

I don't know if UGA is that bad or USCe is that good. Georgia is definitely soft. I saw too many defensive players limp off the field in the 4th quarter with injuries. I think Richts days are numbered.

This is all shaping up great for us. UGA has a bad year, Richt gets fired, we get Isaiah Crowell. USC gets trouble from the NCAA, we get Jadaveon Clowney.

Ha, wrong forum???

Nope. They beat UGA without their best player. All respect to the Herculean effort by Lattimore and the solid play by the O-Line & defense, but good grief was UGA awful on defense today. I lost count of the amount of tackles they missed. Just soft...terrible.

I thought it would be a tough game, but not as tough as I'm starting to think it might be now after their first 2 games. I wasn't expecting Lattimore to come in and play like this right away. 182 yards and the only 2 TD's of the game. Pretty impressive for a freshman in his first SEC game.

I know, but unfortunately I think we're going to lose him regardless. Its just a matter of UGA or somewhere else.

Yeah, you're right. If it came down to it, I'd rather have Crowell because Smart would be gone in a year or so anyway, at least we'd have Crowell for 3 years barring something unforeseen.
