I did mine and my Dads to help find my Dad's real father. I really don't think my DNA is that important in the larger scheme of larger things in life or that someone will want to clone another me!(God I hope not!) Others are looking for medical information that may signal that something runs in your family. I don't understand why people do it for ethnicity because ethnicity isn't an exact science. That one I don't understand!

The lady that helped me find my Dad's father is now a Cold Case solver with DNA. So, it does have some useful things.

Fortunately, the tests are "spit" and not "blood"! They are also just data.

I could be in trouble if Trump starts deporting 2nd generation "birther citizens"!

I'm fortunate that McDonald's doesn't know that I'm high risk for high cholesterol genetically or they may stop serving me McNuggets after an order from my insurance company!

Until the day they put a rich, white CEO of Blue Cross or United or Kaiser behind bars, those are just words on paper. They will use your DNA data to deny you for pre-existing conditions, even if it's just to deny you initial coverage or to fight you on a technicality later.

I'm about to get my data back from another company. I did it to see if I have methylation issues. I suspect I'm going to find out that I do and that it's what has led to several issues (high bp, adhd, etc). I have always been against me getting my dna tested. The Brecka interview on JRE made me change my mind.

It's humorous to me that people think they can delete the data.
