Sark never stop recruiting him even after he committed to Texas. His skill set is perfectly suited with what Sark wants to do with our current offense. He has a live, strong arm with pretty good accuracy for short to intermediate passes. Shifty and makes plays on the run with ease. Still not polished as a passer, but his ceiling is high with the right coaching. He's not a Top 100 player for nothing.

Between Young and this kid, we'll be very good for years to come...

Based on the video, this young man has magic feet in the pocket. Welcome to the quarterback room and the best offensive coordinator in college football.

its inevitable that Milroe will draw comparisons to Jalen Hurts. its easy to see why.
same name, same state, , dual threat QB , same height and similar weight in HS. but that's where the comparisons end.
Milroe is a Top 100 (# 82) player and Top 5 in his position. He
plays in the highest classification of Texas high school football ( powerhouse Katy).
Milroe is further along than Hurts was at this stage in their QB career,
he has a stronger arm, more accuracy, and better pocket presence. just like Hurts, his athleticism is exceptional, and last but not least , he does a great job of keeping his eyes downfield when he's scrambling out of the pocket. Texas offered him early and accepted his commitment without hesitation. that is quite impressive when you considered all the great QBs in that state the Longhorns could have taken.

I don't want to hype him up too much nor do I want to want diminished what Hurts did while he was in Tuscaloosa, but just wanted to lay out some differences and similarities between the two.

Dadgum.. That's impressive stuff man, he can throw just as accurate on the run, as he does throwing from the pocket..

Around the 7:38 mark of the video, he throws a bomb from the EZ, hitting his WR in stride at the 50yrd line under pretty good pressure.. Impressive stuff

We're becoming QB U among other positions monikers you can use besides QB..

Way different body types. Maye has the bigger arm and, given his basketball prowess, is a very good athlete for his size (he's still growing). But Milroe doesn't run. He glides, with great awareness of what's happening around him, not unlike Maye. Milroe also plays better competition -- even though Charlotte high school football is light years better than it was a decade ago.
