I've been hearing some Pegues to Bama noise this morning as well....which would mean Washington would go elsewhere...not ready to say it's a done like McClellan because these things change by the hour. Lol

if Kirby is able to persuade both Washington/Arian Smith and possibly Burton to flip from lsu to go play for that anemic offense, then those kids deserve everything coming to them.

Exactly...with Fromm who hasn't progressed like everyone thought he would at QB and no one really behind him if he leaves. Some of these decisions can be mind blowing...kind of like how LSU kept getting elite receivers when they didn't have a QB and were running their ground and pound vanilla offenses.

I hope Kirby does not get all of them. Who knows though, he may change his offense during the off season like LSU did and/or change OC's. If so, I wonder if this is his pitch to the recruits. I really think Washington goes to either TN or Bama. I would rather him go to TN than UGA if he does not choose Bama.

Truthfully, that might be for the best.........not sure whether he hasn’t decided or still looking. I don’t think I’d lose the chance at a good TE like Pegues........ makes you wonder who’s in the middle of it

Well, you can sell the program as well as you know how...………..but in the end, it's their decision to come or not

We still have a chance to sign Pegues tomorrow morning, and Washington moving his decision back is probably the best outcome we could hope for as I don't think he would have been signing with us tomorrow.

Truthfully, an elite pass catching TE is more a luxury than a necessity. Our main problem this year was that we didn't have any TE's that could block. That's why we had to convert guys from the OL.

I also think fans are sleeping on Jahleel Billingsley. He started to get some playing time the last few games, and I thought he played well.

EDIT: Also, Arik Gilbert really put us behind the eight ball here. Obviously, the kid has every right to make the decision that is best for him, but I don't think he was very truthful with our staff.

Just saw something claiming Washington was going to Clemson, and Ratledge out of Darlington to UGA...…………..not sure of the veracity of that. The same site shows Jase to Oklahoma..................and we know how that turned out
