I didn't say High School coach. I said QB coach. He hired a specialist like most top QB's do. This QB coach has a lot of clients. Like I said, I don't put a lot of stock in it. We'll have to see how it pans out. I still think Fromm is coming back.
He's the 10th ranked PS QB and #219 overall (Very good QB)...By comparison BY is #1 DT QB and #3 overall...but you're right, Beck's probably better...

This is the Darnell Washington thread I believe: a highly regarded tight end who reportedly signed with a school but will not reveal his decision until an All-Star game.

Naturally Dawg came here with rumors he signed with Georgia, what else is he supposed to say?

I don’t care how Georgia recruits, Fromm has never won a game that he’s thrown the ball over thirty times, that means Georgia has never won a game against talent equivalent to their defense. I can live with that as an Alabama fan. I hope Kirby continues to stay in the fifties with his offensive sets and prevent defense.

I just read on another message board that Darnell told a reporter on TV last night that he did sign his LOI before the deadline ended yesterday. He is still announcing in Jan. Supposedly both TN and UGA fans on message boards think they got him. It was on ESPNU. Darnell was at the game to watch Marietta High play whoever they played near Las Vegas. The QB for Marietta signed with TN (Harrison Bailey) and of course Arik Gilbert with LSU. Darnell also said he has a close relationship with the TE coach at TN, who started to recruit him as a 10th grader.

Either Darnell likes to cause drama with social media, or he was really confused with which school to choose, especially if his mom wanted him at a different school. Unfortunately, I think it is UGA but hope I am wrong. If not Bama, maybe he will go to TN.

I also read from a supposed "insider" on that board that Bama stopped recruiting J Burton due to possible character/locker room issues. I hope we can get a high profile WR before Feb.

I read that Rakim Jarrett talked to Jerry Jeudy about advice for choosing either LSU or Maryland and Jeudy said he would really love Mike Locksley with his offense, and if he wanted to stay closer to home, to choose Maryland. In another article, Rakim Jarret said he trusted Coach Locksley more and wasn't sure about the relationship/trust with some of the LSU coaches. That's great he chose Maryland, but I wonder why he did not choose Bama? Locksley said he was surprised himself... did not know they were even in the mix. I think he only visited Maryland once months ago.

Guys, it is all about having discipline. We are no better than the kids committing pre-snap penalties when @DawgByte is setting the trap to derail the thread.
This. I`m certain that he knows that he annoys the ever lovin` hell out of most, if not all of us. I`m sure that`s his intent. Why else would he come on another school`s site and talk about UGA`s recruiting? I admit I`ve taken the bait in the past.

I read the same article in the AJC...It was his HS coach..after a season where his team went 7-4 and his production dropped in half. Including throwing for less than 50%...In HS...

Darnell Washington has not signed with Clemson! All of my sources are saying he and Ringo signed their LOI's to UGA. There's also a lot of chatter that another 5* has done the same, but wants to keep it quiet until the UA All Star game. If Georgia were to land all three that would be enough per 247's calculator to overtake Clemson for the #1 class.
I love this comment, because I’m reading it all over the Dawg boards.go back and recalculate without Broderick Jones who I have heard has a better than even chance of signing with Auburn. All other things stand pat and Georgia would only jump Ohio st in the rankings , plus, Nick said he isn’t done recruiting. We are I play for a couple of guys as is Clemson. Im thinking it will take a 316 or higher to be #1 this year.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm intrigued when fans will start questioning everything with CKS. Just looking at the numbers from 247 sports they were 3 in recruiting in 2017, 1 in 2018, and 2 in 3019 ... and they STILL aren't any closer to winning a championship. The SEC East is progressively getting stronger so even with this class coming in this year, does anyone realistically see them winning a championship past 2020?

really really good player. just starting to get to his potential
I absolutely love Frazier's film...big and athletic...I hate comparisons and not trying to put these expectations on him or say he is this player, but some of his plays remind me of Gronk....same body type and ability. He's very underrated at 3 stars...

So far only one TE has lived up to their billings star or number 1 )(of being a 5 that is OJ. TEs need to develop the blocking game. typically takes a year before they burst onto the scene (just look at Iowa Te history or Pitts at UF ) J Bill is going to be great.
