1 day until Alabama Football: Jameson Williams
Alabama’s season kicks off tomorrow against Utah State! Jameson Williams was a wide receiver at Alabama in 2021. Williams played for Ohio State through the first two years of his college career and caught a total of 15 passes for 266 yards and three TDs with one of those TDs coming in the 2021 CFP Semifinal Sugar Bowl against Clemson. Due to his lack of play time, Jameson Williams joined Alabama through the transfer portal and went on to have an amazing season. In his lone season with the Tide, Jameson Williams totaled 1,572 receiving yards on 79 receptions with 15 TDs. His ability to stretch the field was crucial for the Tide as Alabama went on to win the SEC Championship and play in yet another CFP National Championship Game, though Jameson would sadly go down with a knee injury in the natty. Some of his biggest games of the season included; 160 yards and one TD against LSU, 190 yards and three TDs against Arkansas, and 184 yards and two TDs against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. Williams was also a huge threat in the kick return game, most notably when he returned two kickoffs for TDs in the same game against Southern Miss. For his efforts, Williams was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Year, First Team All-American, and First Team All-SEC. Jameson Williams declared for the draft following the 2021 season and was selected with the 12th overall pick in the NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.

One Day Away from Bama Kickoff: Albert Bell
Albert Bell suited up at wide receiver for the Crimson Tide from 1985-86 and was a key piece of the offense in his time with the team. Though he did not join the Tide as a freshman, transferring in after spending time at Coffeyville Junior College in Kansas, he made his impact felt and helped guide the team to back-to-back bowl victories.
Coming out of Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles in 1981, Bell was an All-City receiver, but was unable to move on to the next level due to poor grades. Despite serious interest from Purdue, he was forced to take the junior college route and enrolled at Coffeyville Junior College in Kansas.
In two seasons with the Red Ravens, Bell hauled in an incredible 90 passes for 1,790 yards, all while running the wishbone offense. His time in junior college was nothing short of spectacular, and after the Boilermakers inexplicably passed on the prospect, Ray Perkins and the Crimson Tide stepped in.
He joined the team ahead of the 1985 season and instantly made his impact felt. In his first year, Bell hauled in 37 receptions for 648 yards and eight touchdowns, and the Tide went 9-2-1, defeating USC in the Aloha Bowl.
In his final year with the program, Bell again was a key piece of the Bama offense. He finished with 26 catches for 315 yards and the Tide finished the year with another bowl victory, this time over Washington.
Though his time with the Tide was brief, Bell put together a memorable career in Crimson and White.

I could not verify what number William T. "Bully” Van de Graaff wore, but he came up in my search for any player who wore 0. He played football for the University of Alabama from 1912-1915. A star punter, kicker, and tackle, he became Alabama’s first All-American in 1915. He attended West Point and after serving in World War I, he coached for Xen Scott and Wallace Wade. From 1926-1939 he was the head coach at Colorado College. He went on to a distinguished Army career and retired as a colonel, and was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 1970.

I believe he is also the one who tried ripping off his cut ear so he could continue playing in the game.
