they are always going to be a mediocre trash conference that belongs in a lower tier division to me.

That was after I kept naming off several other schools in my head that are in the MAC. Oddly, I know more in the MAC than the newly mascotted American.

I was wrong anyway, Liberty is CUSA.....as is WKU. HAHA!!!

renaming a conference from "the American Athletic Conference" to the American Conference (or The American) and adding a goofy conference mascot are what happen you have a million bucks and a dozen consultants in a room and need to show "progress"

If the name of your school contains a cardinal direction, branch of military service, or the name of a city,
You could be in the American Conference.
Given that Memphis just offered the Big 12 $200MM to join and was nixed, they should dominate the conference, right?

In olden times, you had to give a dowry to get your daughter married off. The larger the dowry the uglier the daughter. Memphis must be pretty ugly with no makeup...
