Caught this during the UGA-Cincy game. It's an AAC promo ad. They try so hard to make the club but they are still sitting at the kids table.

To steal the Big 12 illusion let me say that The bottom half of the SEC could beat the bottom half of the American Conference not withstanding the National Supremacy of the Cincinnati Bearcats.

We can make light of them all we want but when they expand to include Boise, BYU, Liberty and Coastal Carolina they will be a lock for the playoff. I should have put the blue sarcasm color

So for all the expanded playoff talks...
The combined bowl record of the AAC, CUSA, PAC-12, and ACC was....

1-19
We throttle back to coast to an easy win against #4. If we were playing #8 in an expanded playoff, Bryce Young would have started the 2nd half.

ACC & Pac 12 are supposed Power 5, so you have to take them out of these statistics. However, the point is well taken...AAC and CUSA are nowhere near ready to compete on a regular basis. It does appear the same can be said of the Pac 12 and ACC.

This was still the best the Group of 5 has to offer against what, the third best SEC team?

Having said that, Cincinatti has long been one of the programs I'd put on a short list of candidates to move to the Power 5. They have some desirable characteristics.
