Unfortunately, Alabama Crimson Tide football great and Minnesota Vikings edge rusher Dallas Turner fell victim to one recently that cost him about $240,000. According to Paul Walsh of The Minnesota Star Tribune, Turner was contacted by a scammer posing as a JP Morgan Chase banker on Feb. 19 claiming that there was someone impersonating the NFL player at a Chase branch in Arizona. The scammer then told Turner to transfer his money to two different accounts, "Island Food Truck LLC" and "CNL FL LLC." After transferring $120,000 to each account, Turner was notified by a family member that he may have been the victim of a scam, according to the police affidavit, which turned out to be the case.
