I finally got to watch them and the last one is by far the best. I like how he stopped and pointed out numerous times WIDE OPEN receivers not targeted or being missed.

I only see one or two on this board who seem to think Tua shouldn't start.

I'm not sure anyone here thinks that way at this point TBH. But there are still holdouts elsewhere.

Civil discussion is always allowed. The only reason we were trigger happy last year was because people were letting emotion get the best of them and every "discussion" devolved into ignorant sparring.

Everyone here knows the rules. The decision was made later on last year that the discussion will be allowed and those who could not behave would be dealt with accordingly. That was the right decision.

Game threads are for discussing the events of the game. If everyone follows the rules there will be no issues.

Very true, but once his point is proven it comes across as lazy, somewhat malicious, and just seems ill-spirited towards JH.

Read somewhere (Bamahammer maybe?) that whoever starts with the ones tomorrow will start Saturday - is that legit or just more smoke-blowing?

Everything that is done during the media viewing period has a purpose. I would not read anything in to who takes the snaps with the ones during that.

I think we win by 4TDs regardless of who starts or how much each plays. So, don't expect it to be settled by next Sunday

Finally just watched the “Season 2” video. @ 19:10 Tua had a 3rd & 15 in the UT game that sums up the difference in the 2 QBs. He is flushed but his eyes were always downfield. Jalen would have already tucked the ball but Tua hit Ruggs in coverage and he broke free for a TD.

I follow him on Twitter...he's either got someone with some inside knowledge, he knows a player or he's blowing smoke. He's been adament that Tua will start.

FWIW, it seem pretty informed.

Well gee. Now I am kind of concerned. If "John Doe" actually is Marquis Maze, and if he thinks Saban might settle on Hurts because of some sense of loyalty, then that's not good. I would note that he said "start" and not "settle" but he sounded seriously concerned, and if it is in fact Maze, then he knows Nick Saban better than anybody on this board does.

I am not sure that it is Maze...John Doe seems to have a deeper voice.

I've read some posts in other areas that also postulate that Tua will start, but Hurts will get to play............as for John Doe, I think he's also postulating what he thinks.............I'm curious as to who the guy is, but some seem to think it's a former player from one of Saban's more recent teams.

No matter who he is, he knows no more about Saban's strategy for playing these QBs in game one than anyone here.
