My question is how does this compel Alabama to comply? I get when a mega corporation like Disney does it, but how does a buisness travel ban affect Alabama?
More symbolic than anything else. I doubt LA County has employees come here on county business very often.

I was unaware of this, but California already bans state employees from coming here due to a law allowing adoption agencies to not do business with gay couples. But it won’t stop Fresno State’s football team from coming here since the contract was signed prior to the ban.

Gurley, Al
Trump Jr. called Moore “literally the only candidate who could lose a GOP seat in pro-Trump, pro-USA ALABAMA.”“Running for office should never become a business model,” Trump Jr. said. “If you actually care about #MAGA more than your own ego, it’s time to ride off into the sunset, Judge.”
hahahaha. What's the horse's name?

Hugh Culverhouse is urging a boycott of the state and the University of Alabama due to the abortion law.

He has given a bunch of money to the university and the law school is named for him.

The law school is about to not be named after him.

I saw an article on Facebook about Tubby and he is all in favor of the new abortion law. Guess he is pandering for votes before Roy Moore jumps in.

hmmm. The doc appears to have been taken down. Earle, do you know what Culverhouse was demanding from the university/law school?
I honestly don't. I know it had to do with operational control and he should have been smart enough to realize that can't be bought anywhere. I do know he'd demanded ten million back. If I find out more and it can be posted, I will...

For the second time since Governor Ivey said every life is a sacred gift from God, the state of Alabama has killed a human being.
