[4Q Basket Case]

Pitching on this team is phenomenal. Fouts is the ace, but Kilfoyl or Connell would be the aces on a lot of teams.

Bats are less consistent. But given the pitching, they don’t have to be great, just good enough.

Florida will be our biggest challenge in the SEC, and maybe nationally. They’re just a hair better in ERA than we are, and several spots better in batting average.

Also, Skyler Wallace transferred there over the summer with a deafening silence from Murphy. I don’t know the reason, but from the outside looking in, it appears that there might be some friction on that move.

We‘ll see how all that develops when Florida comes calling in about 6 weeks.

I saw an interview with Tim Walton a few weeks back and he said she likely will not be eligible to play this season because of intra-conference transfer.
