Can't compete with elite teams like the Gators and not hit the ball.

Going to the bottom of 7, now 9-2 Gators. Another run scored on a wild pitch. Doesn't look like any miracle will happen, but I always hope. Pitching has carried us the whole year, and no Kilfoyl today hurt.

Game mercifully over. 9-2 Gators. We also extended pinch hitting streak in the SEC to 0 for 16. We'll find out tomorrow how much mental toughness we have. We need to bounce back and at least get one win in this series. Montana Fouts on the hill again tomorrow.

Can't disagree they look pretty deflated right now. Top five match-up and the teams look as different as night and day.The two teams are definitely headed in opposite directions and Bama is not the one headed in the right direction.

Well, I wish we would quit hitting balls back to the pitcher. Still 1-0 BAMA after 2 innings.

Well, Montana with another lead off walk. I thought she had that gator struck out. The ump did not.

Florida goes up 2-1 in the top of the 3rd on a bases loaded single. Fouts had two walks in the inning, but I thought she had the first one struck out twice, including the pitch the gator walked on. Bit of a clueless ump behind the plate today. Gators continually get the big hit and we seem like we have been 0 for a million with runners in scoring position this weekend.

Florida finally makes an error to give BAMA a break. Another ground ball back to the pitcher, but this time she threw it into center field. Good response by BAMA. Back up 3-2. And as was mentioned - no silver helmets today.

Can't believe the Gators made another error, but I'll certainly take it. I wish we hadn't left Brown sitting out at second base.

Nine pitch top of the inning by Fouts. And Bailey Hemphill beats the Gator shift with a liner out to right field for a stand up double. The Gator right fielder was basically playing centerfield.

Florida lifts Hightower for a lefty pitcher. Well, we strand Hemphill at 3rd, and now go 0-17 in SEC pinch hits this year. Murphy pinch hit to get a righty on lefty and we swung at three pitches out of the strike zone. We still get find the big hit!!
