Yeah, if you are a betting sort of person and that -2.5 is at a reputable sports book, it'd be a good one to get in on. Depending on events this weekend, that line could be closer to a touchdown, I would think. You might even have an opportunity to hedge it.

I was at a game in Norman in 1968 and the stadium was as big as Legion Field, and bigger than Denny Stadium, at the time.

They are at around 85k now, if I’m not mistaken.

We have to remember their Big 8 roots. Back then, they and Nebraska were the only two serious powers in their conference, and they had the two biggest stadiums. Like us, they played their big rival at a neutral site every season (as we know for us, all our big games were in Birmingham).

They’ve upgraded the stadium a couple times since the formation of the Big 12. But now, in the SEC, with SEC money rolling in, they will spend in order to keep up with the rest of this league. I’m not saying increase capacity because that’s really not what you do nowadays. But they will improve all the other stuff.
