Alabama will BEAT Auburn this year.

Back in the summer I predicted Alabama to beat Auburn. Since my Alabama season predictions are now 8-0, I'm sticking with it.

The barn hasn't seen a defense like BAMA's all season. We can and will beat them and Shula picks up his big win.

It would make my year and return things to normal if that were to happen, but I wouldn't count on it. Auburn has a very solid football team, and, despite what statistics may say, we don't have a great defense. We have a good defense, but I think Auburn's balance on offense will demonstrate our weaknesses. I don't think we will be able to hold onto the ball offensively, so our defense will be out there all day. The only way possible I can think we will win, and I have been racking my brain coming up with possible scenarios, is if we get a few big plays on special teams and the defense scores a couple of touchdowns. I think it is supposed to rain, so maybe a slopfest will play in our favor. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Roll Tide.
