last night the broadcasters talked oregon up the whole game.
This is a post from a other site by a fan
"My top 5 oregon-bama-ohiost-clemson-flordia st reason i put the ducks ahead of bama is that bama played two weak teams back to back while oregon beat a gd washington team my opinion im not a duck fan im a bruins fan die hard"
really oregon beat a 4-2 #22 washington team and had 4 of 5 easy wins when Alabama beat #7 5-1 texas aTm and #21 6-1 VT team but we still haven't played anyone at this point...

At this point, Alabama isn't exciting for the media to talk about. The more exciting story is "who can knock off the champ".

Don't tend to look at this team as all that right now. The key for the ducks is to win them all and they better had. They must bring their A game against teams who match up. No room for error. If the O is not bringing the heat, they are going home.

I would only start to care if they began to suggest that Alabama doesn't belong in the game.

Im not worried we just have to win out the rest takes care of itself I just thought it was funny he acted like alabama has not played anyone and oregon played a power house but alabama has faced 2 if not 3 better teams then washington I think

I think it's probably just some backlash directed toward people who keep saying Oregon will fail when they play a defense with a pulse, or "come talk to when you've won an important game." According to statistics, Washington's defense had the 10th strongest pulse in the nation coming in to that game.

Anyway, that's what Colin Cowherd will argue all day tomorrow.

Everybody said we couldn't beat Tejas and LSU either. I liked how we didn't "belong" in the title game yet dominated.

Funny how everyone punishes us because our pansies are in the middle of our schedule, they act like that is all we have played yet we have played a good VT team and a very good aTm team. I like to call it the Sunday syndrome, we dominate on Saturdays and by Sunday all they can do is try to pick out things that will cause us to lose.

Meanwhile we are still counting our wins. Roll Tide.

Oregon is fine but I don't think they've played as difficult of a schedule. I think Washington ends up being roughly equivalent to the Ole Miss win for Alabama. Arizona State is going to be difficult especially after getting worn out the last two weeks. They also get UCLA in November which is another potential loss. In my opinion, Washington is going to be a 4 loss team and ultimately just a "good win" for Oregon not some season defining win.

Everyone knows Oregon is a quality team and they're in the driver's seat. So #1 or #2, it doesn't matter...Alabama and Oregon are the consensus title teams if they handle their schedules.

I think WA is far better than Ole Miss but not as good as ATM.

I wasn't at all happy to see them lose to Utah. It's really very embarrassing and now it makes our game with them less important than it was before.
???

For Oregon, it is as important as ever. You lose, you are out. Do you really care how important to anyone else?

I don't mean that it's not important in that sense. It's still just as important as every single other game. However it now becomes less of late season bump, not as strong as a springboard to propel Oregon into the NCG if other competition is close behind. Hope someone knocks out FSU and Clemson. Those teams stand no chance against Alabama and I doubt many people besides their own fans want to see them in that game.
