I think he embodies the saying that everyone you meet is fighting battles of which you have no idea...This breaks my heart. Altee was such a sweet young man and always lit up the room (or airplane in my case) with a smile. He would always come to the back where I was working and give me a big, huge smile. I just knew that when Kenyan went down last year that Altee would step up and fill the void. I remember talking to him before the Arkansas game last year and how much he wanted to pick the team and the RB position up after losing Kenyan. That never really happened but not because Altee didn't have the desire to do it.
Coach Steele would always call him Dime (get it? Ten pennies). Rest in peace Dime and may God give your family the peace and comfort that only He can give.
Roll Tide Altee!
That's very true and a big reason we aren't supposed to judge others. Sadly we all do.I think he embodies the saying that everyone you meet is fighting battles of which you have no idea...
I think that would have been his best shot, to stay at Bama and close to Coach Saban. Here's a SDS link with a little more enlightenment on his last days: LINKI really wish he woulda stayed at Alabama. I can't remember the circumstance of his departure but it was definitely the first domino that ended with this accident. Just terrible...I can't imagine what his family is going through right now.
Man, that's sad. Wish he could have gotten some help.I think that would have been his best shot, to stay at Bama and close to Coach Saban. Here's a SDS link with a little more enlightenment on his last days: LINK
I agree with this completely.RIP Altee, you are surely in a better place.
Mods, IMO this thread would title should be changed to just Altee Tenpenny has passed away and do away with the in trouble again part. This young man obviously had some serious problems. Just out of respect and JMO.
