LSU should recognize a fake injury when they see one. They have pulled this same stunt several times when needed to slow the momentum of the opposing team.

I remember hearing him say that in an interview.I believe Larry Bird used to practice those crazy shots just in case he needed to use them.
I agree 100%That is a miracle win, but the guys on the losing side have to be crushed. That is one awful way to lose a ballgame. That is about as bad as the kick 6 load of crap.
Kick-six sucked, but on that particular play, Malzahn was better prepared than Saban. It is what it is, but it wasn't cheap and it wasn't trickery. It was simple, well-planned execution. That is about as bad as the kick 6 load of crap.
Hahaha, I would say "well-planned" would be a stretch. I doubt Ol' Gussaroo sat around and planned that play against Alabama. All coaches know you can return a missed FG, and I'm guessing Gus put a guy out there just in case. It worked for them, and it wasn't cheap, but we should have beaten AU by two TDs easily that day without all of our mistakes. I mean how often does an All-America wide receiver drop a TD pass that hits him in stride in the hands? How many FGs did we miss? It was a tough way to lose a game, but AU did execute their play better than we did, so they won the game. I will continue, however, to think it was a load of crap.Kick-six sucked, but on that particular play, Malzahn was better prepared than Saban.
