Don't know if he'll start the first game, but barring injury I think he'll be a starter by mid season and remain so his 4 years.

You add Jaques McClendon out of the Baylor School in Chattanooga who just got Mr. Football lineman for Division II, as a first year starter too. The guy in great. More importantly, he is smart and of good character.

I wonder why he would be consider UThug. He has a soft verbal to them, whatever that means. He said on TV last night his list is Alabama, Florida, UThug and one more that I can't think of right now.

I'm glad everyone else is confident in getting Andre Smith. From what I have read and heard from him, I'm not nearly as confident. I'm more confident in getting Tim Tebow than I am Andre Smith at the moment. I don't say this to discredit what y'all have said, I say it more to curb the disappointment if he doesn't come here. But he most definitely starts his first game here. I think we need to wait and see and hope his mama has more influence than daddy. But I think USC is going to be a major contender for his signature.

Does he have a Date that hes goin to make his commitment or could it just be any day ??

He hasn't set a date, but has always intimated that it will be very late in the process. I think it will be very late January or possibly even signing day before he commits.

AS was rooting for BAMA at the AU game and was trying to sway recruits our way. His uncle (who accompanied him) was even asked to move from recruit relative section because he was rooting so hard for BAMA.

Take it for what it is worth, but this comes from my Doctor who is a huge AU booster, and he told me that to cheer me up from our butt kicking. I also confirmed it through another good Barn source.

I had heard that but don't know how to take it. It had to be awkward for him to be sitting in the AU section with a Bama fan uncle and a relative on the field playing for the other side, and still try to be coy on your inner allegiance. Interesting to say the least.
