Anyone know What injury Ryan is dealing with?

No disrespect, but Missouri is a good team even if they haven’t played anyone.

We are only favored 3 on the road in the SEC for an early kickoff.

That is very telling. This is no “Gimme”.

If he can play, we need him to play.
My thoughts exactly. Probable means he is going to play unless something bad happens between now and then. I expect him to get a lot of snaps and play well.

At FSU he had tape down the back of one of his legs like he had a hamstring issue. Don’t know if it’s still a problem or if reaggravated. I know once those things become a problem it’s very hard to get em right especially while competing.

He said on his podcast that he was playing
I know I sound like an old fart saying this, but I wish they didn't have all these distractions.

I know they get paid for all this stuff, and that's fine, but I would think that the more time they spend doing this kind of stuff, the less time they're spending on game preparation. I would also say less time on school, but I have my doubts about how much schooling any of these guys do anymore.

Vegas knows something. Vandys offense was averaging 45 points/game and their defense only allowing 16 points/game. But, they hadn't played anybody and Vegas had us anywhere between a 10-13 point favorite. Mizzoo, much like Vandy, has staggering offensive and defensive averages and haven't played anyone. But the point spread is a lot tighter. It tells me that in spite of their week schedule, Vegas thinks theyre very good.

Well, not sure if they know anything I don't, but I think if you just look for something to give a team an edge, they are present in this game:
Revenge game
Coming off a bye
At home
Some elements of a trap game (between two teams that beat Alabama last year, whereas Alabama beat Missouri 34-0).

This does beg the question of... will Missouri be better prepared? Will Alabama come into the game tired while Missouri is well rested? Will Alabama play poorly on the road like they did at FSU?

If those things happen, Alabama could be in trouble. I still feel like Alabama is capable of dominating, but they have to play to their ability and this is one of those games where they might not.

This is the game that concerned me the most once we beat UGA. If we go on the road and win this game I think we may have the makings of a championship team. My guy tells me we lose two more games but if we win this one I'm much more optimistic about the rest of the season.

Brooks is more than up to the task of playing for Williams. I think RW‘s body hasn’t developed enough for the rigors of CFB, not a knock on him, but he needs a couple of years in the nutrition and S&C program. Brooks is also 18, but he is thicker in the middle core . RW and the slim reaper are of similiar size, but Smitty was one solid muscle, RW still has some kid in him. About the time he leaves for the NFl he will be ready for CFB.
BTW, huge fan, I believe he is a unique talent. I think the team can do things to help Him out, like share some of his game reps with Adams and Brooks.

He's got to get bigger and stronger. Hes just to lean to take the constant hits of the SEC. Smitty was tough as nails and played bigger than his size. RW just isn't that. He's a great talent but at his current size wont last long unless he adds some weight and muscle.

This is becoming a main coaching concern for me because it’s not just the size issues.

Our WR coach is still letting him catch the ball with his body instead of his hands.

He could do 1,000 - 2,000 extra reps every week and if it’s still with his body then it’s wasting time.

I wouldn’t put him on the field again unless he catches the ball the right way.

It’s kind of insane this bad habit has been allowed to continue for this long.

I think he has small hands, but is too talented after the catch to not put him out there. Maybe some hand strengthening exercises, that’s what my amateur S&C knowledge recommends .
