Penn St. is playing Mich St. ranked #10. The game has major implications for the Big10+1. You would think the Penn St. staduim would be packed. Nope, there are way more empty seats than when we played Miss St.

I bet their stadium won't have empty seats when we play there next year. I plan on being in State College for that one.

Do you think so? I really wouldn't think they would be that bad with Penn St having a down season this year...

Don't know how much the stadium holds, but ESPN's box score had the attendance at 102,649 or something near that number. Over 102,600 something.

When a traditional powerhouse falls out of championship contention, people often choose not to show, especially in a bad economy. The fans of places like Penn St. and Alabama are usually spoiled and expect championship seasons. Look at us; we are all bummed out with a 9-3 record. Once we lost to LSU, it didn't surprise me that we had empty seats for MSU and Georgia St. Making sure the bills are paid seems much more important when your team isn't on a championship run.
