I am very sad. Battlestar Galactica was a favorite of mine. As a kid, I would hold my Panasonic cassette recorder up to the TV and record the audio of various episodes and listen to them each night as I went to bed. RIP Apollo.

Richard Hatch, best known for his role as Captain Apollo in "Battlestar Galactica," died Tuesday after a battle with pancreatic cancer, his manager confirmed to Fox News. He was 71.

Loved that show as a kid. Very sad news.

One of my favorite shows as a kid, I always wanted to be in space with them. I am a kid of the space race so it was a natural for me.
