Ok it is Hog week. Looking at this game I think the hogs play into our strength. I think we can slow down their running game, they do pass but not like olemiss. I think the game will be a lot like the olemiss game minus the penalties. I think we can pass on them and mix it up. "THEY WILL GIVE US A GAME" But I BELIEVE COACH has the boys attention. And we will win by 14 " could be more"

You will !!! In fact I think the game will be like the olemiss game but with a different end result. I think we will win by 10 ! If yall's D plays better it will be a real close game.

We are still an enigma. I don't know how this is going to go. We've played great for 17 out of 20 quarters and played our way right out of that A&M game in Dallas.

We have SEC-caliber players at almost every position but lack depth to rotate and keep playing at a high level late in the game against our fellow SEC-quality teams.

F'ville will be sold out and rockin' so the emotional factor should help us some. But we still have a ton of respect for CNS and your Tide team. I predict y'all to win a competitive and respectable game that hopefully won't look anything like last year's 52-0 debacle.

I just don't think that Arkansas has the kind of defense required to stop Alabama. Alabama's defense matches up very well with Arkansas' strength on offense. The only question in my mind is how this Alabama team will respond to the loss to Ole Miss.

i always like arkansas week. i've always liked them (my step-grandad is from arkansas and they are his second favorite team) and i love the user names :)

i think we bounce back from the second half flatness last week and the o is much more dynamic and our special teams can actually contain a kickoff

42-10(13)

One of my favorite weeks. Hog fans are loads of fun (unlike little sis, barn and lsu fans) and like 92, I love the user names. It will be a close game and we may shoot ourselves in the foot again.

ok, so when do we see the user name epigma ? ;)

If we struggle in this one like the last one I wonder what the chances are of seeing some Coker?

qb was not our main problem in the ole miss game, the entire team (seemingly including the coaches ;) ) seemed like they wanted the game to be over when it got to the fourth quarter.

Actually.... Sims made few bonhead decisions... almost threw 3 ints... Saban got on him a lot throughout the game. If Sim don't improve his decision making this weekend, Expect Coker.

Not the main problem but part of the overall mix. May not have hurt to bring in Coker for a couple of series sometime in 2nd to see if the rest of the team responded well.

Hello to my Tide friends! Love dropping by every year and enjoy this Board.

My favorite week of the season by far, recent beat downs notwithstanding :)

I look for a much better game this year but I expect us to fall by 2-3 TDs. We simply do not have the depth to play four quarters. If Brandon Allen shows up and Chaney gives him some room to operate, it could be a little closer. Of course, nightmares of Cooper running wild our secondary have begun.

An angry Tide team was not on my wish list, either.

Here's to at least a competitive game. You all be safe making the trip to Fayetteville.

Im on the fence with that. I think we might see better or worse results, but if it happens Im probably going to stay away from threads concerning that subject because its going to be some heated arguments a brewing. If you don't believe me just see how many people got in a hissy when drake got pulled after his fumble in the Florida game and times that by a million. I believe who gives us the best chance should play, but it is still a touchy subject to most people still.
As for the arky game its going to be tough.

Not to hijack this thread as yet ANOTHER Sims vs. Coker discussion, but IMO I haven't seen Coker play with the decisiveness needed to keep up with SEC speed of play.

Not a Sims vs Coker argument but 26 minutes into 1st half before TD against Ole Miss, none in 2nd half, all I'm saying is that it may have been worth a try. Even if Coker would have been successful its still Sims' team but a little bit of real play time is always helpful with developing the needed 'decisiveness'.

I agree, but you know how people will react to it here.

I would just like us to simply stop making so many penalties and turnovers. Hey how about we force a few turnovers ourselves?

In those regards, this is the most un-Saban-like team I have seen since he came to Alabama.

I'm not sure Arkansas is good enough to beat us should we continue our sloppy play - but they are certainly improved and its in Fayetteville where I have seen things go south for a visiting team in a hurry many times before.
