Imo this was a win-lose-lose-win situation. Arky won a huge early season game, but lost because it chose to play a team that's barely one step up from a high school. In Louisiana, there isn't much difference between the two Beating them, even by such a wide margin, means nothing. Before Arky embarrassed Nicholls State on the field, it embarrassed itself by scheduling a game with them in the first place.
Nicholls State, otoh, might have lost the game by a huge margin. They did though get the benefit of playing on a larger stage than what they are accustomed, that is an SEC team. They won because they were being paid to do so.
