I remember my Dad giving me a little white button with crimson letters on it just before we left to go to an early sixties BAMA game. It simply said I Believe.

And last week I saw this quote... it's pretty appropriate for the TIDE this year:

"Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we're not going to catch it.
But in the pursuit of it, we will achieve excellence.''

- Vince Lombardi

If BAMA can be disciplined to play it one game at a time - I, for one, believe we can achieve excellence this year!

And oh yeah, I still have that button - and I still Believe! ROLL TIDE!

Well, that calls for this...

I'm sorry but don't you think this "as Bama improves...Believe!!" stuff is a little bit band-wagonesque. Where was your belief when we were struggling. I appreciate your enthusiasm but gimme a break with the Johnny Come Lately business. JMO

Don't be a wet blanket. You know what he meant. Pulling with all your heart and soul for the Tide while they were undermanned and crippled is one thing but knowing they can play with (and beat) anyone in the nation is another. Although we are still undermanned we have "improved" to that point!!!!
