Five people were killed and nearly 50 were injured when an SUV driver barreled into a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday afternoon. The suspect, Darrell Brooks, is in custody.

Victims include Virginia Sorenson, 79; Leanna Owens, 71; Tamara Durand, 52; Jane Kulich, 52; and Wilhelm Hospel, 82.

Yeah - told the resident he was homeless. Resident invited him in, made him a sandwich, and then let him use his phone.

I read he was barefoot when he showed up at the house to borrow a phone.

I had assumed the boy found the gun in a drawer...did the father take his son out for practice shooting in the time between buying the gun and it getting carried to school? Somehow that seems to make it worse.
