All the tricky stuff is gone without a great running QB. They're a more normal offense now. Easier to defend.

That's what I was thinking as well. Depends on what poll they are using. LSU technically won it in 2003 under Saban. USC tried to claim co-champions, but LSU took home the crystal. I think Nebraska won it in 95-96 or something like that.

You're right. NCAA stripped USC of its titles and I completely forgot about Nebraska 1994, 1995.

Triple coverage, no miracle deflection, another pick. Really don't see all the fuss about this kid. He wasn't that good in high school, for two years he couldn't beat out a former db turned qb, doesn't seem to have developed any at au. He's tall and has a strong arm, beyond that... not so much thus far.
