Question: Bama/FL White-out

Aesthetic changes versus over hyped gimmicks repeatedly used by our opponents and mocked by us. Yeah, I don't see a difference.

How are field gimmicks different from uniform altercations and fan pageantry? I am mad we have changed our logo a few times since 1998 and change the field looks several times, too. Boise State alters their field and how is that not a gimmick, it's not an aesthetic change. All a white out is; is college football pageantry and fun

Really? You are honestly going to try and say a white out and changing the endzones is the same thing?

If a color out is football pageantry, why do fanbases only do them for big games? If it's part of the game for fans, why isn't it done every week or why is it made out to be such a big deal? It's not part of the college football pageantry; how long as the thing been around? Not that long. Boise changed their field completely. Bama (and many other schools) changed the endzone design or the 50 yard line design. Boise's field is blue. Bama doesn't have a crimson field.

These _______(insert color) outs are mainly for the fans to participate in something and to get all excited. It does not give a team an advantage on the field nor does it give a team a disadvantage. And I don't think any team or coaching staff in the country really believes they will play better. It's just to get the fans excited and riled up. Of course at Bama we don't need something like that to get us excited. It's Bama football! That's enough for us!

Sheesh, why don't we just have a "houndstooth out"?

Seriously though, our home games are already unofficial "crimson outs" anyway. And let's be honest, we are the Crimson Tide, not the White Tide
