OU had 2 falls as well. Maybe there is something going on with the beam. Very uncharacteristic for both teams.

Pretty decent Vaults, but lower scores relative to scores Utah got. We're averaging about a 9.83.

How does that even happen? NCAA has become the Boeing of hosted events. (women's hoops 3pt line was way wrong on one end of floor in some games). Gives the feeling they don't care about women's sports any more than the average football fan. Probably will blame it their "contractor."

What really stinks is that it possibly caused the falls for Bama. The former Olympian talking head talked about how it could affect timing. And Bama doesn’t get a do over they just gotta deal with the falls and bad scores.

Not sure. A girl from UF had a really bad fall and looked to have injured herself a bit.

That's not even remotely fair. They should have either fixed it or replaced the beam. That things supposed to be rock solid.

I feel like Utah loosened it up (they didnt have any issues) and we maybe knocked it free in warmups. Once OU got to warmups it was apparently very obvious that it was moving around. They pulled the mats back and adjusted it. Oddly, they never showed why our girls fell off. They would show other teams with a misstep that caused them to fall.

I didn't get to see it but it looks like Utah was first on the beam. Maybe it wasn't so bad to start with but kept loosening up more with each gymnast on it. There should be no wiggle at all.

That's simply ridiculous to have an issue like that. It's almost as bad as the officials at UT in 22. Good season, though! Roll Tide!
