I don't think they do or at least Dish Network isn't offering it on an HD PPV channel if they do broadcast in HD. I don't think CTSN does HD, in fact, it looks like they are still using equipment from the '70s judging from the quality of last years PPV game.Does the Crimson Tide Sports Network provide a high definition broadcast?
That's for TV right. Who are you using for Internet? The ISP's are the ones that have to deals with ESPN to show ESPN3 not the TV providers.
If your ISP is listed here then you have espn3
So if you have ESPN3 it is free?
Opps. Thats the new name for ESPN360 isnt it?
This is the Q&A I was searching/hoping for. ESPN360 was great for me last year. So it's now ESPN3...Yes it is. That's how I watch all the 'Bama games that aren't on national television. Works great for me!
If they are blacked out in Florida it is likely a broadcast station in your area is playing the game. For example the 11:21am Central time SEC network games are usually available on ESPN GamePlan and ESPN3, but only for areas where there isn't a station that carries the SEC network games. For me in Atlanta, I believe WPCH carries the games, so it would be blacked out for GamePlan and ESPN3. If it were just a PPV game only available in Alabama, it should only be blacked out in Alabama.my only problem with ESPN3 is the Bama games are always blacked out where I live....in Florida, no less. Go figure.
I thought I remembered from some months back that the PPV was going to go HD, but I'm not sure.Dish Network is $5 cheaper at $34.95. I'm a suck and paid it but, it sucks to pay that much for the poor quality that CTSN produces. You would think that the athletic department could throw some money at the CTSN for some upgrades. HD would be nice but, at least get the SD up to todays standards.

I was referring to the PPV games being blacked out on ESPN3. I get all the other games on U-verseIf they are blacked out in Florida it is likely a broadcast station in your area is playing the game. This is probably an easy ?, but I've got three TVs (two receivers) that will have the game on..... will it be accessable through all TVs or do I have to pay an added fee?I just ordered it and it will be on channel 461 in my area. I have Dish; and I live in the extreme south part of Alabama. I tried to find it on DISH.com, but it doesn't show up, not even with a search. I complained about that and they waived the $5 extra charge for ordering over the phone. Still 34.95 though...

Finally, this a.m. I found it. However, I was told to go to 102 for PPV & I finally saw other games listed for Sat. but not AL so then I went to 100 & saw it listed on 101 & I ordered it. Whew! I was getting worried.....Also for the Uverse subscribers here...start checking around Tuesday to see if the game is listed. Look at channels PPV 100-107 or ESPN GamePlan 4401-4406.
As soon as I see it I will post in this thread.
Does anyone know which channel Direct TV will be showing the PPV game on?
