You are not subjected to a blackout for this event.
Alabama & California, my bad.
Also, I signed up with ESPN3 from a new log-in ID with a different State residence..........might work for internet access.
But probably they track the location through the local verizon switch which is where you are entering their network, and accessing ESPN3 using their CDN technology.
I live in Brewton which is about 8 miles above the Florida line above Pensacola. We have Mediacom and in this area, it's based out of Milton FL. and fed to several towns in both FL. and Al. I just checked tomorrows ESPN 3 schedule and, just like last year, it says I'm not subject to the blackout. (because my internet feed originates in Florida) Last year the only PPV game I wasn't able to see was the FIU game. I should probably fell guilty but I don't.:cool2:
Wow... DirecTV is actually broadcasting this in HD on PPV. CTSN has stepped up their game!
It was channel 787-1. Not 787. There was a HD broadcast as well as a SC broadcast.Mine was not in HD. What gives?

It was $34.95... the same as the SD price according to DTV.I turned it to 787-1 and all it had was a white screen. I made sure I ordered that channel online, but it wasn't showing up for some reason. Oh well. The rest of the games will hopefully be in HD. How much did you pay for the game in HD? I was wanting to check to see because I checked for both channels and they were the same price.
